Netflix has blessed fans with six seasons of Grace and Frankie, with one more (and final) season on the horizon. The story of two unlikely women becoming best friends after their husbands left them for each other, Grace and Frankie have overcome the odds. Instead of living a life filled with grudges and contempt, they have bounded together and have made their second act their best one yet.

After binging season six, it’s clear the bond between Grace and Frankie has only gotten tighter over time. There are plenty of speedbumps in the road but it’s their undoubtful friendship that keeps them moving forward. From Frankie helping Grace off the toilet to Grace bailing Frankie out of her mistakes, let’s take a look at 10 BFF moments between Grace and Frankie from season six.

WHEN FRANKIE RESCUED GRACE FROM THE TOILET

Most likely the biggest BFF move from season six was when Frankie helped Grace off the toilet. It was this moment of kindness that spiraled their business goal for the rest of the season.

Grace is a very prideful woman who is not ready for her new husband to see her at her worst. Instead of asking him for help off the toilet, she called Frankie to the rescue. Frankie was more than excited to help her best friend in such a funny time of need. It’s in this scene that we see the true power of friendship.

AND THEN THOUGHT OF THE “RISE UP” TO HELP HER

Grace may have been the woman stuck on the can who inspired the need for a helpful toilet, but the idea was all Frankie’s. Had it not been for Frankie’s unique and artistic mind, Grace would still be using a scarf and a statue to help herself off the toilet. But what’s more uplifting about the “Rise Up” is how it came to be.

Frankie didn’t want to see her friend in pain or living a life embarrassed to go to the bathroom, so she thought of a way to help. Due to its genuine brilliance, the “Rise Up” wouldn’t just be helpful to Grace, it would be helpful to any person who needed help getting up after using the facilities.

FRANKIE CAME TO THE CHARITY EVENT TO SUPPORT GRACE

Grace is a very independent and mature woman. She may act like she doesn’t need help or guidance but deep down, she appreciates it and needs it at times. She’s only human, after all.

After being invited to a charity event as Nick’s date for the first time, Grace was feeling a little overwhelmed and anxious. To help calm her nerves, she invited Frankie to tag along. Frankie, of course, loves any time Grace is vulnerable and asks for help, so she was happy to oblige.

GRACE TOOK NICK’S MONEY TO FUND FRANKIE’S “RISE UP”

After Nick was arrested and Grace and Frankie realized there were thousands of dollars hiding in his couch, Grace could have done anything with that money. She could have put it into a savings account, gave it to Brianna to help Say Grace, or just kept it for herself.

Instead, one of the first things she said was “Frankie, I think we found our funding for the Rise Up!”. Knowing how badly she messed up their chance on Shark Tank, Grace made up for it by using the money to help her and her BFF’s newest product, the “Rise Up.”

AND WENT ALONG WITH FRANKIE’S LIES IN FRONT OF JACK

Grace was surprisingly supportive of Frankie and Jack’s relationship. She has been a tad judgemental when it comes to Frankie’s love life in the past, so it was sweet when she stood behind her friend’s choice.

But when Frankie was thrown into a predicament of not hearing Jack’s deepest, darkest secret, she lied about it and said Grace had been through the same thing Jack did — even though they didn’t realize what that “thing” was. Instead of throwing Frankie under the bus, Grace went along with it as long as she could. This is a true testament to their devotion to each other.

FRANKIE REMINDING GRACE THAT SHE NEEDS TO BE HONEST WITH NICK

Grace and Nick’s romantic connection is unlike anything they’ve ever had before. They may have a large age gap but they’re on the same page in their lives and in their relationship. However, Grace still finds it hard to be 100% honest in her relationship with Nick. Sadly, she didn’t even realize this until Frankie brought it to her attention.

Grace made mistakes during her first marriage and Frankie didn’t want to see her travel down that same path in her second. Frankie truly makes Grace look inside herself in season six, something a best friend does.

WHEN GRACE TRIED TO HIDE SOL & ROBERT’S IDENTITY FROM JACK (FOR FRANKIE’S SAKE)

It was a shocking twist when Robert and Sol were the lawyers who took Frankie’s new boyfriend, Jack, to the cleaners in his divorce. Because of Robert and Sol, Jack lost everything and was sent to an institution during his mental breakdown.

Upon meeting, Jack didn’t initially realize who Robert and Sol were, so Grace did everything in her power to keep the secret hidden for the sake of his relationship with Frankie. But as viewers know, the cat was out of the bag by the end of the meeting.

AND KEPT CHOOSING FRANKIE OVER NICK

It’s the ultimate best-friend move when Grace continues to choose Frankie over her new husband. Before Grace and Nick married, it seemed obvious that Grace’s dedication to Frankie was strong but Nick didn’t realize that she would come between them in their marriage.

Grace would come home late from her adventures with Frankie and - according to Nick - neglect him. It is a testament to Grace’s growth in the friendship that she’s not ditching her friend for some guy.

WHEN GRACE INVITED FRANKIE ON HER HAWAIIAN TRIP

Speaking of the constant tennis match between Nick and Frankie, Grace finds herself in hot water when she promises to spend time with both Nick and Frankie during the same weekend. To get herself out of the pickle, she decides to combine the two, much to Nick’s chagrin.

Instead of going on a romantic trip to Hawaii with Nick, she invites Frankie and Jack to tag along with them. This way, she can spend Frankie’s birthday with her and also get that romantic alone time with Nick that they both need.

WHEN GRACE BAILED FRANKIE AND JM OUT OF THEIR BILL

Grace really messed up when she denied Mark Cuban’s offer on Shark Tank. Denying the funding didn’t just affect her, it affected Frankie, too. Frankie took off some steam by getting high with JM and going out to eat; however, in typical Frankie fashion, she forgot her wallet.

Even though the two besties were fighting, Grace came to the rescue anyway and tried paying for their bill to put them in good graces with the restaurant. This act of kindness proves that no fight is too big or too small to stand in the way of true friendship.
