Ghost Adventures is a TV show in which Zak Bagans and the rest of the Ghost Adventures crew head out to different haunted places in order to investigate the potential paranormal activity going on there.

They’ve been to so many different haunted locations over the years and now, Zak Bagans even owns a museum full of haunted artifacts in Las Vegas. The series has been on since 2008 and has aired 19 seasons so far.

The Washoe Club (Multiple Episodes)

The Washoe Club is located in Virginia City, Nevada and has been visited by the Ghost Adventures crew multiple times. They visited in their very first documentary in 2007, Ghost Adventures: The Original Documentary, and the location has been featured in multiple episodes since then.

The Washoe Club is a historic saloon that has gained quite a reputation for being haunted, so it’s definitely no surprise that the ghost adventures crew has visited multiple times. On their last trip to The Washoe Club, they had a particularly emotional encounter with what they believed to be the spirit of someone they were once close to.

Kay’s Hollow (Season 15, Episode 5)

Kay’s Hollow is the current site of what used to be a large stone cross in Utah known as Kay’s Cross. Where it came from and how it got there were the subject of many urban legends and myths, but it was destroyed in 1992. Today, Kay’s Hollow is still known for being super haunted and was the site of an investigation in the 15th season of Ghost Adventures.

In this episode, the crew came face to face with a terrifying, shadowy figure that seemed to have red eyes focused right on them. They heard strange noises and the area was even filled with a mysterious fog during the investigation, really upping the scare factor in this episode.

Winchester Mystery House (Season 5, Episode 4)

The Winchester Mystery House is a historical site and the former home of Sarah Winchester, heiress to the  Winchester Repeating Arms Company. The house was built after Sarah began to believe that she was being haunted by the spirits of people who Winchester’s weapons had killed. The house has dozens of rooms, doors and staircases that lead absolutely nowhere, and is generally a maze inside.

This house is a popular place for believers in the paranormal or lovers of unusual architecture to visit and tours are available for anyone who wants to take a stroll through the mansion. This house was investigated during the fifth season of Ghost Adventures and it was enough to scare Zak Bagans, so it’s a place that only the truly brave should visit.

Pennhurst State School (Season 3, Episode 2)

In the third season of Ghost Adventures, the crew took a trip to Pennsylvania in order to visit the Pennhurst State School. The Pennhurst State School was once a school and hospital for the mentally and physically disabled and was closed after accusations of abuse ran rampant.

This location has definitely gotten a reputation for being terrifying and haunted and watching the episode makes it obvious why. During their investigation, the Ghost Adventures crew caught several EVPs, heard unexplained noises, and felt something touching them when no one was nearby.

Tuolumne Hospital (Season 8, Episode 3)

California’s gold rush left a lot of places in the state allegedly haunted. Among them is Tuolumne Hospital in Sonora, CA, a location that the Ghost Adventures crew took a trip to during the eighth season of the series. The hospital was opened in the late 19th century, but closed in 2011 and was left completely abandoned.

The crew caught a lot of unusual evidence of the paranormal during this episode and it was totally terrifying. Were the strange voices and noises they heard the residual energy leftover by the miners that lost their lives in the hospital? Maybe, but voices that said things like “help patient” made it seem likely!

Bell Witch Cave (Season 10, Episode 5)

The Bell Witch Cave is located in Tennessee and is a location that has become infamous since the 19th century because of the terrifying story attached to it. According to stories, the Bell Witch is a mysterious and vicious spirit that tormented a family in Tennessee in the 19th century.

The Ghost Adventures crew became the first paranormal TV show to investigate the location during the 10th season and they really showcased how scary the location is. The crew heard strange voices and noises during their investigation as well as rocks being thrown and a strange shadowy figure.

Tintic Mining District (Season 17, Episode 4)

During the fourth episode of season 17 of Ghost Adventures, the crew traveled to Utah in order to investigate a former mining camp and several of the allegedly haunted buildings there. The crew were joined by journalist Julie Jordan and had several locals come tell them stories about a haunted well, a mass grave, and other terrifying locations in the town.

The ghost town is full of abandoned buildings and there are stories about local people doing rituals in order to strengthen and summon the ghosts living there. An unexplained scream, strange shadowy figure, and other bizarre and completely unexplainable events are caught during their investigation.

Idaho State Tuberculosis Hospital (Season 18, Episode 10)

In the 18th season of Ghost Adventures, the crew traveled to an inn in Idaho that was once a hospital for people suffering from tuberculosis. Because this inn saw so much disease and death, it’s no surprise that there’s now stories about hauntings at this location.

The Ghost Adventures crew stayed in the inn to investigate the stories told to them about the crew being tormented by an angry spirit, strange voices, and the ghosts of young children. The energy in this location was so scary that when one of the crew members sneezed and frightened Zak, it was almostenough to make us laugh and take our minds off what was going on during their investigation.

Hotel Metlen (Season 13, Episode 6)

The Hotel Metlen is located in Dillon, Montana and was the subject of an investigation in the 13th season of Ghost Adventures. Stories about hauntings in this location have existed for years and both visitors as well as employees of this historic building have claimed to have experienced unexplained things while in the hotel.

The Ghost Adventures crew even got to visit the infamous third floor of the hotel, a location in the building that has been locked off to the public for decades and that allegedly has the strongest paranormal activity. While doing their investigation, they heard footsteps and voices and had unexplained physical contact.

The RMS Queen Mary (Season 10, Episode 1)

The RMS Queen Mary is docked off the coast of California and has become known as one of the most haunted places in the US in recent years. This ship has been the subject of a ton of paranormal investigations, both by the Ghost Adventures crew as well as by amateur investigators on YouTube, and it’s always totally terrifying.

While investigating this once luxurious ship, the crew heard a door open by itself, caught several strange EVPs, and caught other unexplained and terrifying evidence. Could the ship be as haunted as people claim it is? This scary episode sure made it seem like it is.
