In eight years of the Arrowverse, we have seen plenty of heroes make their way to the small screen, either as supporting characters or making small cameos only real DC fans would see. With the current Crisis on Infinite Earth’s crossover, we have seen more heroes than ever appear in hopes of defeating the Anti-monitor.

But as DC fans know, the comics have hundred upon hundreds of superheroes, some well-known, others a part of a smaller fanbase. As the Green Arrow and his supporting cast make his way out after Arrows series finale, what heroes can make their way to the CW to take Stephen Amell’s Green Arrow spot? here are 10 heroes we’d love to see in their own show.

Nightwing

Starting off the list is Batman’s first sidekick and arguably the best of the Robins. Nightwing did what no other sidekick has really done and succeeded on his own as a well respected and feared hero. Combining his expert acrobatics with years of training under the world’s greatest detective, Nightwing would make an excellent addition to the Arrowverse.

Although the character is currently in the show Titans, we know that they are part of another earth and therefore part of another dimension.

Patrolling the streets of Bludhaven, Dick Grayson has his own enemies and bad guys to worry about but can also lend a hand to Batwoman in Gotham or even Barry Allen in Central City as Nightwing has a great friendship with Wally West.

Zatanna

Pretty much the Doctor Strange of the DC universe, Zatanna is a powerful magic-user. Although she may not be as popular as other heroes on the list, she is a valuable Justice League member and has a close relationship with Batman and an on-again-off-again relationship with John Constantine, who has already made appearances on shows across the Arrowverse.

Having her own show could bring a unique take on superheroes that we’ve never seen before in the Arrowverse as she deals with the underworld and dimensions.

Booster Gold

Some may argue that Booster Gold is more of a joke than a hero, only really having powers due to his high tech gear from the future. Like Zatanna, Booster can bring a unique twist to the Arrowverse as he’s from the future and he spends most of his time being a showboat and showing his arrogance.

Booster Gold would bring a comical take on Arrowverse shows and with most shows being grim and moody, it could be a nice change of pace.

Wonder Woman

Confirmed to exist in the Arrowverse by Batwoman herself, its only a matter of time before fans beg to see the great warrior princess. Wonder Woman is an all-powerful, and confident warrior that brings a lot to the table as a hero, being able to take on any threat and even gods themselves.

Aquaman

Another hero we might never see in the Arrowverse due to his time in the DCEU, Aquaman’s fame has skyrocketed in the last few years. Although his home has been mentioned on several occasions along with some hints that he’s somewhere in the Arrowverse, he would make a great ally to the heroes in the yearly crossovers or a one-off like Superman.

It would also be great to see how the designers make his costume and what dashing actor would take on the role of the King of Atlantis.

Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner)

Hal Jordan and Jon Stewart may be the most well known due to their appearances on shows and movies but Kyle Rayner is arguably the most powerful and accomplished of the two. Becoming the Green Lantern after Hal became a villain, Rayner made his own legacy and accomplished a lot being his own hero and was even powerful enough to wield several other rings.

His youth and force could make him a great ally to the young heroes and he could even teach them a thing or two about handling crisis.

Doctor Fate

Making a quick appearance on Smallville, Doctor Fate is one of the most powerful heroes in the DC universe. Wielding his powers from the Egyptian God Nabu, Doctor Fate has a lot of great powers that would make for intriguing and mystic filled story arcs.

Like Zatanna, Doctor Fate brings magic and sorcery and as an all-powerful being, there wouldn’t be a lot that can stand in his way.

Blue Beetle (Ted Kord)

There have been several iterations of the Blue Beetle in DC but one of the most popular is Ted Kord. The name Kord has been thrown around in the Arrowverse since 2011 and as often as they have eluded to a Blue Beetle, one has yet to show up.

Like Atom in Legends Of Tomorrow, Ted Kord is a genius who’s brain might be just as powerful as his suit as he’s used it to save the world in several occasions.

Static Shock

Made wildly popular by the animated show in the early 2000s Static Shock is a huge fan favorite. Wielding powers similar to Black Lightning, Static is a teenager who stops at nothing to save his city.

With his drive and his power, he could make a great ally and even be taken under the wing of Black Lightning or any other hero.

Shazam!

Last but not least we have the hero with the powers of a God and the mind of a kid. With powers that rival Superman himself, Shazam would be a huge help in a Crisis and not only that Billy Batson’s investigative mind could prove to be useful as well.

His transformation, his villains, and most importantly the humor he brings would make for a great show that would have an instant fanbase.
